In County Court Goderich Dec. 6—Concluding a two-day trial a county court jury tonight returned a verdict finding that Wrn. Addison, prominent Mullett Twp farmer, had on occasions during the past two years slandered his neighbor and lifelong friend, James Medd, by referring to him as a "cat- tle thief" and "robber." The jury verdict -awarded Medd $100 of the $500 damages he asked. The costs of the case were assessed against Ad- dison, the defendant by Judge Clem- ent.
