Fowl Cheaper
As will be noticed in the revised.
market quotations this Week that all
should be able to afford fowl of their
.2 -twice for Christmas this year. The
very choice of Turkeys are being
marketed at 17c a lb. dressed and
geese and ducks at 12c. We do not
attempt 'to predict if prices will go
still lower or become firmer as the
Holiday approaches, but we have the
assurance that we can buy the cheap-
est fowl this yeai for many a day.
As there is little fowl being shipped
across the ocean owing to the limited
space, consequently there is an over-
production at home and prices are
the lowest in years.
