Mr. Kenneth Brakey and Jack Mer- ner enjoyed a few days, last week attending the Exhibition at Toronto. • Miss Beatrice Gascho .who has been at London and Grand Bend for the summer, has returned to her home in town. • Mr. and Mrs. Addison Koehler and family of Syracuse, N. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Drysdae's sister, Miss Jemima, Johnston, who spent a few weeks in Sandusky. Mr. and Mrs. William Martin and daughter Marion of Stratford, call- ed at the home of Mrs. C. Eilber on Sunday. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Martin's mother, Mrs. Mary Gibson, who had bee:: staying with her cousin, Mrs. Eilber nor about six weeks. September 25th and 26th are the dates of the Zurich fall fair, and already many exhibits are being put into saape for this big annual event. So far as early enthusiasm is con- cerned it should be a bumper show regardless of the questionable polit- ical situation in our country. We will get nowhere by bemoaning and wringing our hands. Let's gar let as all meet at the Zurich fair. OBITUARY Late Elmer George Krueger The rather sudden pe!sing °of Mr. Eimer George Krueger tank place at his horns, 14th concession Hay- Town- ship, on: Tuesday September 5th at the age of 48 years, 1 month and 13 days. Deceased who was the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Krueger of the same neighborhood as their son had lived, but now of Dashwood, was a very bright and i'nitelligent young man with a most accomplished aspect of life, and as a young mart prevail and that the liberty vouc:hsaf- ; he.
