holding of the 70th Anniversary of
the building of the church. These
services are to be held onSunday,
June 18th and Rev. J. -M. Keys of
Niagara Falls, New York, will be the
special speaker for the day. A book-
let is being prepared giving a histor-
ical sketch of the early days of this
church.

sang a duet which was much enjoyed
by all. The meeting closed with the
singing of hymn 662 and the bened-
iction was pronounced ''by Rev. J. R.
Peters. A tasty lunch was then en-.
joyed by all.

en name was Lucinda Decker and shewas born in Hay Township and has
been in poor health for a number of
years. After her marriage she lived
on the farm an the Lake Road two
miles east of Dashwood until retiring
to town 10 years ago. The deceased
when in health was an active number'
of the Lutheran church being a mem-
ber of the Ladies Aid and by ner kin-
dly disposition won a warm place in
the 'hearts of a wide eiicle of friends.
