Township of Hay
Sealed Tenders will be received by
the undersigned up to twelve o'clock
noon, Monday, April. 3rd, 1959, for
operating the Township crusher at
Welsh's pit for season. of 1939. Ten-
ders to be submitted at per cubic
yard of crushed material placed in
the bin. Township will supply drag
line equipment. Contractor to sup-
ply drive belt, fuel and oil for power
unit.
Also Tenders for trucking crushed
Material unto Township roads.- Con-
tractor to submit rate per yard mile.
Also flat .rate delivered in any part
of Township. Tenders may be sub-
mitted fox operating and trucking
combined or separately.
Satisfactory bond to be furnished.

60th ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kraft, Dash-
wood were married at the homestead
on the 11th concession of Stephen
Township, March 11th, 1879` by Rev
J. C. Himmiler, pastor at Dashwood
Mrs. Kraft before her marriage was
meine Stade, born in Wilmot
i oornship, Waterloo County, Mr.
'.Cra't was the second oldest of twelve
dui:la:el bc.rn to Mr. and Mrs..Louis
Kraft, Sr., eight of which are still
living. The bridesmaid and grooms-
man of sixty years ago were Maria
Master of Wilmot Township and Cur-
ry Walper of Detroit, he still living.
This occasion was a double wedding
of Mr. Christian Stade, brother of
Mrs. Kraft and Catherine Kraft, sis-
ter of Mr. Kraft. Many came to this
wedding by o.cen, wagons and sulky.
At the time of thele marriage the
•only business places in Dashwood,
was a hotel, grist mill and saw mill,
and Mrs. Kraft stated that many a
basket of eggs were carried` by her
two and a half miles for eight cents
a dozen, Mr. and Mrs. Kraft farm-
ed fee 32 years on the 12th ': con. of
Stephen Township and have been re-
tired in Dashwoo,i for 28 years. At
present Mrs. Kraft is in her` 'Sret yr.
and Mr. Kraft in hie 84th year, both
who are enjoying fairly good health.

were presented with baskets of flow-
ers and a diamond brooch and the
