STORE ROBBED.
The General Store of Restemeyer
& Miller, Dashwood, was broken into
early Monday and a quantity of mer-
chandise stolen. The store was just)
taken over two weeks ago by the
present proprietors, both young men.
Including in the loot were six pairs
lof trousers and two windbreakers. A
check is being made as to further loss
The robbers must have been hungry,
for they helped themselves to a lib-
eral meal of cheese, crackers and pop
taking some away with them. Entr-
ance was gained by smashing a pane
1of glass in the front door, then reach-
, ing in to snap the night latch.

Back From Florida
The party of Zurich citizens who
left for the sunny south a month ago
returned back on Friday. Consisting
of: Mr. and Mrs. Elmore Klopp,
Lorne Klopp, Mrs. Susan Haberer and
Mr. William Rader. They report a
meet enjoyable: time with good wea-
ther, good roads, no ice, and the clim-
ate most wonderful, sun every day,
the mercury going up toarcung 80
degrees every day. The scenery al-
so is magnificent in Florida. They
motored down the Atlantic Coast as
far as Miama then crossed over to
the Gulf and went along this shore.
At Petersburg they stayed offff for
a while, here there are over 800
Canadians alone registerea who are
getting away from the cold winter's
blasts of our beloved country. It
was a trip much to be admired by
'most of us who have to stay at home
and attend to our daily duties.

A goodly number of auction sales
are being held the next few weeks.
And, those interested we would ask

Called as Jurors
lVXessre Blake Horner and Alfred
Melick of this district were at God-
erich on Tuesday, being called ,there
to act as jurors at the spring assizes
Court. However, their services were
notl'required, and so they returned on
Tuesday evening. The Court docket
at Goderich was very light, only one
case, and that a civil action caused by
a rotor accident is being heard.

the two groups mingled in thebase-
ment and enjoyed a period of social
fellowship. Group games were led by
the leaders of the local Recreational

ninety young people present felt in-
clined to refuse the splendid lunch
that was served by the local society
