While Mrs. Ernest Denny of How -
ick was changing clothing on her in-
fant daughter, a small safety pin
dropped from the mother's mouth,

child was ruslled to Palmerston Gen.
Hoepital, where x-ray revealed the
open pin on its way to the stomach
where it 'finally lodged. The tiny pat-

Hospital. ,and later returned home,
and then to Palmerston Hospital wh-
ere careful surgeons removed the pin
and it is hoped the child will recover.
A Prolific Cow
A. E. Purdon, of Whitechurch, has
a thomolighbred Durham cow which
will be five years old in April, that

wing, cooking and household manage-

BAKED FISH CAKES
2 cupfuls flaked fish (cooked
nr maned), 2 cupfuls bread
crumbs, 1/2 teaspoonful salt, 1,1
teaspoonful pepper, 1/2 green
pepper, chopped,.1 table-
spoonful lemon luxe, 2 eggs,
ee cupful milk.
Combine flakorl fish, bread
crunibs, seasonings, green
pcpper and lemon pike. Mat
egj,s, combine with milk and
mix svith fish. Press into
greased custard cups and bake
oven (550° 14.) for
hour. Serves 6 to S. Serve un -
moulded with egg -onion sauce.
