day October 17th at 8.30 p.m. Spea-
kers will include Hon. Angus Mac-
Donald, Federal Minister of Naval
Affairs, and W. H. Golding, M. P.
for Huron -Perth.
The Womens' Institute held their
meeting on Thursday evening at the
home of MVlrs. Thos. Meyers. Ways
of storing vegetables for winter use
were discussed. During the pro-

Treasurer to make out the tax not-
ices and that taxes be paid at the
Bank of Montreal, Zurich, Hensall
and Exeter.
That the Council of the Township
of Hay donate a pair of small pigs
or three War Saving Certificates to
the South Huron Junior Field Meet
to be held in Zurich on Wednesday,
October 11th.
That the request by Mr. A. G.
Edighoffer to he .refunded his Tele-
phone rate from J.an. 1 to Oct. 1,'44
