Dagg family in Zurich and we wish

On Vacation
Dr. and Mrs. P. J. O'Dwyer and
two sdns Maurice and Michael, and
daughter Patricia, who is accompan-
ied by her girl friend, Kay Appen of
Windsor, Ieft on Tuesday noon for
their annual camping vacation which
they enjoy in the Wilberforce district
in Halliburton County. We wish them
a very happy vacation with good wea-
ther. The Doctor most certinly de-
serves a good vacation as he is prac-
ticallytwenty-four hours a day on
duty when attending to his practice.
Wb trust they will all return well'

OBITUARY
Late Christian G. Beeclger
After an illness of several weeks,
'Christian G. Baechler passed away on
Wednesday, July 19th, in his sixty-
fifth year, at his borne on, Wolfe st.,
Goderich. Mr. Bechler moved with
his family from, Blake to the God-
erich district a few years ago and
farmed on No. 8 Highway . before
moving to town where he was em-
ployed with the Western Canada
Flour Mills. He was a member of
the late Jdhnn Baechler and his wife
Barbara, who. still resides at Blake.
Hie wife, the former Hazel Powell,
sirvives, with the family of two
sons, Emery and Leonard, and a da-
ughter, Grace, all at home.. His ma.
ther is eighty-four years of age also
survives. The funeral took place from
the late residence on Saturday last in
the afternoon. Rev. Richard Stewart
conducted the service in the absence
of Rev. R. H. Turnbull, }pastor of
North Street United .Clx rc'h, Godcr-
ich, of whiOlt deceased was a member.
