New Pump Installed
The experts of the Beatty Com-
pany, at Fergus were in town early
in the week and installed the pump
in the new artesian well recently
drilled. This pump has a capacity
of about 16 gallons per minute and
runs very smoothly, it requires a
five h.p. motor to operate the same,
and with this addition to the old
pump which has- a capacity of six
gallons per minute, the town should
not "run dry".
