Plenty of Good Water
The new artesian well put down by
the Davidson Drillers of Wingham is
a decided success• as early this week
a good supply of good water was
reached at a depth of 285 feet, and
this Wednesday noon the equipment
was moved out, going to Belgrave
for their next yob. There seems to
be an abundant of water according
to tests made with what equipment
these people had, and if a thorough
test were to be made it would be nec-
cessary to install n-1, centrifulaI pump
which would envolve a considerable
amount of extra expense, and for
a place the size of Zurich there is
an abund?a.nce of water. The cost of
this well as it now stands is around
the two thousand dollar mark, and a
pumping equipment will now have to
be installed.. These drillers were real
fine boys, and we greatly miss them
as the new well is only about fifty
feet from out print shop, and we are
all pleased witk the fine job they
gave us. Here's wishing theta much
success.
