Talks Over Radio
The many friends of 1VIr. David
Ducharme of town were pleased to
hear his voice over the Wingham
Radio Station on. Saturday noon a-
bout 1.10 o'clock, when Mr. Duch-
arme encouraged the people of Hay
township and surrounding vicinity to
do their very. best in buying Victory
Bonds for this •worthy project. With
well. chosen words he emphasized it
very clearly for all of us o do our
very best. We congratulate Mr. Du-

A HAPPY BIRTHDAY
On Saturday evening a surprise
birthday party in honor of Mrs. J.
W. Horner of Zurich, was given by
the family at the home of her daugh-
ter, Mrs. E. G. Krueger, 14th Con.
ivIrs. Horner was escorted to her place
of honor at the table which was dec-
orated with hyacinths and daffodils;
seated in a chair draped with corres-
ponding colour scheme. At this point
Nola Krueger gave the following
poem.

portation of new potatoes so long as

NOTICE TO CREDITOR?
In the matter of the estate of
Jacob Howald late of the Village of
Zurich in the County of Huron, re-
tired mason, deceased, notice is here-
by given, pursuant to Section 56 of
the Trustees Act, R.S.O., 1937, Chap.
165, that all creditors and others
having claims or demands against
the estate of the said Jacob Howald,
who died on or about the 12th day of
November 1943, at the Village of.
Zurich, are required on or before the
15th day of May, 1944 to send by
post, prepaid or deliver to the ,xec-
utors of the last Will and Testament
of the said deceased, their Christian
names and surnames, addresses and
descriptions, the full particulars, in
writing, of their claims, a statement
of their accounts, and the nature of
the security, if any, held by them.
And take notice that after such
last mentioned date the said execut-
ors will proceed to distribute the as-
sets of the said deceased among the
parties entitled thereto, having re-
gard only to the claims of which
they shall then have notice, ,and that
the said executors will not be liable
.for the said assets or any part there-
of to any person or persons of whose
claim notice shall not have been re-
ceived at the time of such distrib-
ution.
