We can point with pride to the splendid response in the purchase of Victory Bonds. These men have the mist mod- ern equipmeme, and are making good time on the undertaking. The new Village well is being drilled immed- iatery west of the town hall on a portion of land purchased from Mrs Hey. The drillers are sinking a well with an 8 -inch hole, and if they hit a: good flow of water usually down about 300 feet, the town will be well supplied with water. Had a larger pipe been used in the old well, this new one would not have need to be drilled. So here's hoping that they may be successful in obtaining an abundant supply of good water. • -OUR IDurStodk. of Groceries is always kept up-to-date in quality as well as quattityevhen at all possible.
