Guelph visited at the home of the

vanus Witmer, and their brother, Mr
and Mrs. Orville Witmer last week
for several days,

Pte. Orland Durand who is in the
Armed Forces returned to the home
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs, Louis
Durand, north. of Drysdale, where he
will enjoy several days furlough. Or-
land takes great pleasure to thank
the Women's institute and hexa Cross
for the box of goodies which he real
ceived in good condition,

SHOCKING STORY OF JUVENILg
On a Wartime Binge.
Juveniles on the loose! That descr-
ibes thousands of teenage ,girls roam-
ing the ,country, on the streets, in
dance halls, out for money, men and
eKcitement. ,Rean "Juveniles on the
Loose", by Genevieve Parkhurst,
famous sociologist, starting in The
American Weekly with this Sunday's
(April 10 issue) of The Detroit Sun-
day Times.
DIES AT EXETER
Frank James Delbridge died sud-
denly at his home, Exeter in tis 62nd
year. Mr, Dolbriclge, as a Sung man
took up bank work becoming manag-
er in a Western branch. He then be-
came interested in life insurance and
on moving back to Exeter took over
an agency, Heµ was an ardent hockey
and ball fan, and when at all able
he attended these sports. Surviving
are this wife, a daughter a brother
and three sisters. The funeral, was
held on Saturday with rev. A. 11.
