MINISTERIAL ASS'N. MET
Rev. and Mrs. Mair, of Thames Rd:
were hosts to the South Huron Min-
isterial Association -"at its regular
monthly meeting on Monday last.
Rev. E. Heiinrich, of the Zurich Luth-
eran church, gave an excellent paper
on the history- and position of, the
Lutheran Church, tracing its, origin
in the Reformation under Luther in
Europe to the present day. The Luth-
eran church is to be found in all
parts of the world and was one ,of
the pioneer churches in .establishing
the gospel on this continent. The Lu-
theran church was the first Protest-
ant Church . along the St. Lawrence.
River. The central doctrnte of the
Church is justification by faith. It is
the third, largest church in America.
Following. the. meeting which was in
charge of the President, Rev. A. B.
Irwin, refreshments were served by
the hostess. The April 'meeting will
be held in the Zuriclt Lutheran par-
sonage.
