CEILING PRICE FOR FOWL Ottawa - The Prices Board, in order effective, has brought under ceiling prices live turkeys, geese and ducks -now approaching the peak of their market season. The maximum. wholesale prices per pound, of live birds is: turkeys 31 cents in Ontario, for old tom turkeys four cents Less. For live geese 21 cents in Ontario, and for ducks two cents a pound hi n4, BUTTER MAY BE REDUCED Ottawa - The Prices Board, faced with a cut of almost seven p.c. in No- vember butter production as compar- ed with last year, expressed "grave concern" over the supply situation, and stated it cannot promise to main- tain the existing ration through the winter. Creamery butter output, last month was only 15, 500,000 pounds, about 0.8 per cent less than in Nov- ember 1942 and 37.1 per cent. below October this year.
