Concert Big Success The program which wile held in the Town Hall last Friday evening un- der the auspices of the Iced Cross Society was a decided success. The president of the organization, Mr. E. M. Dagg acted as chairman. It being a miscellaneous program, the hours of the evening soon sped away. The Miss Greta Laramie, violinist, ac- companied by Miss GIadys Luker of Hensall; Mr. T. Harry Hoffman, gold medalist baritone of Dashwood; Mr. Walter I. Hatch, cornet soloist, of Centralia Air Port, assisted our local talent, also several number: of the Z.P.S. children were well ren- der.•ed. The committee of the Society served refreshments to all those who so willingly contributed of their tale ent to this worthy cause, the proce- eds amounted to approximately 350. OBITUARY Rev. Emil Burn Passes - Rev. Emil Burn, a native of Le Chaux De Fonds, Neuthatcl, Switzer- land, and a resident of Canada for over 65 years, died at his home in Milverton on December lst. He had been in poor health for some time, Mr, Burn spent over 50 years in the ministry of the Evangelical church. His .appointments were at Hanovee, Elmwood, New Hamburg, Sebring' ville, Tavistock, Crediton, Waterloo, Port Elgin, Arnprior, Milverton -.anti the last appointment was at Zurich for six years,. from where he moved to Milverton, where he often helped out as various places as supply pre- acher.
