J. 1VIcCo'well officiating the marriage was solemnized of Norma Marie, daught- er of Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Heff- ernan, Clark Street, London, to Ward Edward Kraft, son of Mrs: Kraft, and the late John Kraft of Dashwood.,Dashwood.,The attendants were Miss Mary Har- rison and Bud Goetz. After a short honeymoon in Windsor, Mr. and Mrs Kraft will live on Maple Street, Lon - clop. Niagara rr d s Late Miss Emma Tiernan The community was shocked to learn of .the death of Miss Emma Tiernan, who. passed away very sud deny at 136 Kent. London,. on Saturday eve. Oct 16th while rely ing the evening meal. Miss Tiernan had been in good health up to the time of her death. She had been employed at the Gunn residence for the past 18 years. Was born in Hay Township and was in her (19th year. During the time she lived in Dash- wood she was a member of the Ev- angelical church and while in Lon- don was a member of Talbot St. Baptise church, was also an active member of the YWCA. She is stir - ed by two sisters, Mrs. R. Thomp- son of London and Mrs. Matilda Kraft of Dashwood, also two broth- ers, David Tiernan and dward Will - ext of Dashwood. The funeral was held from the Hoffman Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. C. Pecker officiating. During the service a solo was rendered by Mr. T. Harry Hoffman and a duett by Mrs. J. M. Tiernan and Mr. Hofifman. The flor- al tributes were many and beautiful. showing the high esteem the deceas- ed was held, Interment took place in the Evangelical cemetery, Dashwood. William Bert Gibbons, son of Mr.. and Mrs. Bert Gibbons, London Mrs, Milton Oesch played the traditional wedding music and during' the signing of the regis- ter Miss Audi+y Jervis, of Clinton, niece of the bridle, sang "r Love you Truly", she Wore the groom's gift, a gold bracelet. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length white China silk gown in. Princess: line fashion, her tong veil arranged with a lovely headdress hung softly over her shoulders, she oarrieda bouquet of American Bea- uty Roses, also wore the groom's gift, a yellow gold black faced wrist watch. Lorene Gibbons, sister of the groom was bridesmaid wearing a floor length gown of robin's egg blue. Sheer with head dress tq, match, she. also wore, the groom's gift, a gold or- nament. Orville Witmer, brother of. the bride, was best man, he received a pencil set a.gift of the groorie. The ushers were Neil Witmer and Harold Gibbins.
