Word was received here of the
passing of Mr. Jacob Swartzentrub-
er, a lifelong resident of the Blake
district, in the Clinton Hospital, on
V#ednesday morning. He had been
ill for some time and an x-ray re-
vealed a broken hip. The funeral
will be held on Friday afternoon at
the Amish Mennonite Church, Bron -
eon line.

• Morde Brenner Passes
Mori* Brenner, owner and or-
ator of Brenner's garage at Grand
Bend for n years, died an Saturday
in London Hospital. He was Rnown
by thousands of persona in Canada
and the U.S.A, who spent holidays at
that place. Born in Grand Bend, son
of the late Mr, and Mrs, Joseph Bre-
nner, he had lived all his life there
was a member of the United Church.
Surviving are his widow, two sons,
Donald, Grand Bend; Irvine, Camp
Borden; four daughters, Mrs. Gordon
Pollock and Mrs, Geo. Renshaw, of
Detreit, •Shirley and Betty, Grand
Bend, a sister, Mts. 3. D. Hannan of
Alberta. Deceased's brother, Ezra,
Brenner, proprietor of the Brenner
House, Grand Bend. The funeral
was held on Tuesday afternoon and
was largely attended, interment in
Gran O fiend Cemetery.,
