DO YOUR DUTY
Women dare not fail in duty to
Red Cross work. Our women are
not upholding the traditions of the
Red Cross when they slack down on
the work that must be done. And all
Red Cross work is important, is need-
ed and is used. Don't let anyone
tell you that the things you make are
not used. Let your house go un -
dusted, if that interferes with your
duty to the Red Cross. You won't
have a house to dust, or a bed to lie
down in if we should loose this war.
Once a week dusting instead of daily
will suffice, so that the sewing and
knitting for the Recl Cross might go
forward. The women in the service
need things as much as the men. If
you can not come to the work room
at the town hall every Thursday af-
ternoon, let us know and we will pro-
vide you with sewing and knitting
which can be done at home or when
you are on your vacation. Clothing
is still sent to England and Greece,
for the simple reason that clothing is
needed. Give a little of your time
and you will be blessed for it!
