P, Zapie, of Sas- katoon, have been notified from Ot- tawa that their son, Lieut, Willard C Zapfe, of the -RICAF„ is reported mis- sing in air operations. This is the second time he has been missing. Bill as he is known, was first trussing in the early fall in Western Africa, -when his plane became caught -in a storm, landing in a peanut field. He walked miles through a jungle, final- ly contracting malaria. He survived this and, landed safely in England. His parents are hoping that Bill will be lucky again. He is 27 years of age, and received his promotion from pilot officer to lieut white he was re- ported missing in the fall.
