Seaforth Res9cdent Passes Death removed an old and esteem ed resident of !Seaforth when Mrs. William Reid passed away in the Hospital, following an illness of five weeks. She was born in London, on Aug. 19, 11879 the daughter of the late Robert S. ,Powell and Katherine Wa]la.ce, knit cane to .Seaforth with her parents when a girl, and the gre- ater part of her life had been spent there. In 1.894 she was united in marriage to William Reid, who surv- ives, together with a family of three sons and one daughter, one son being Allan 'Reid of Seaforth; also by two brothers and one sister, four grand- children. The funeral was held from her late home, with services conduct- ed iMr Rev.
