entire sale averaged $718 for 64
head, the highest figures made by
any Holstein consignment sale on the
continent since 1.929. Top price was

The largest Record of Perform-
ance test .reported from a Huron ,Co-
unty Holstein Herd 'luring the past
anonth was that of Bonnie Pioneer
Netherland owned by Colin Campbell
Bayfield. She produced. 594 lbs. fat
from 14,428 lbs. milk as a seven -yr. -
old in the twice) -a -day milking sec-
tion of the yearly division. In the
same division a two-year-old from
the herd of Bisset Bros., Goderich,
gave 12,734 lbs. milk containing 487
lbs. fat.

Mrs. Fred Bawden of Exeter had

A large section of the north pier of
Kincardine, on which are situated
the foghorn and lights, has been bro-
ken out by -the autumn storms:
Rev. J. E. Hogg, of Drumbo, has
purchased a -residence at Seaforth,
and intends to reprove to that town
-to make his home. He was at one.
Mrs. George Tuckey of Exeter i
died at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Elmore Tuckey, Loncron, wheree
.she had been residing the past few?

ken to Exeter for burial.
Seaforth Res9cdent Passes
Death removed an old and esteem
ed resident of !Seaforth when Mrs.
William Reid passed away in the
Hospital, following an illness of five
weeks. She was born in London, on
Aug. 19, 11879 the daughter of the
late Robert S. ,Powell and Katherine
Wa]la.ce, knit cane to .Seaforth with
her parents when a girl, and the gre-
ater part of her life had been spent
there. In 1.894 she was united in
marriage to William Reid, who surv-
ives, together with a family of three
sons and one daughter, one son being
Allan 'Reid of Seaforth; also by two
brothers and one sister, four grand-
children. The funeral was held from
her late home, with services conduct-
ed iMr Rev. Hugh Jack of First Pres,
byterian church of which oho was a
member.
