times in summer; in all white, has
attracted wide attention as a prea-

of women in the ministry, and there
is still question in many minds, seem
answered by Miss Hern, who takes
throe serices each Sunday, in all
weathers„ lives by herself in the
Varna parsonage and looks well af-
ter her flocks. Unlike some of her
masculine contemporaries, she does
not read Ther sermons. Nor does she
take notes into the pulpit. Her warm
contralita voice carries well in any
building and in the 10 monthe -of her
ministry in Varna she has preached
in 26 different pulpits and in some of
these as often as .three different tim-
es.
