OBITUARY Late Conrad Vollan.tr There passecl.away at the home of ;his grandson, Clarence Volland, at :Hensel], last Wednesday, May 13th, Conrad Volland, well-known resident of the vicinity in his 88th year, and passed away after a week's illness, which had confined him to his bed. He was a resident of Hensall for the past nineteen years, previously ]iv- ing or the Babylon 'line, Hay Town- .laip where he farmed. Last fall he left .Renals to Iive with his grand- son in T'uckersmith. The deceased n: s always a hard working than, was ;mart and active for his years, and believed in early rising, always up and worming at 5 a.m. Surviving are oaf' daughter, Mrs, Wrn. Leibold,. Zurich; two sons, Emrnanuek and Henry, of Goderich, and once sister, Miss Caroline, of Zurich. The fun- eral .services were held from the home of his grandson, Clarence, on Friday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. R. A.
