Lawrence Bedard has arrived safely at Vancouver, B. 'C., where he con- tinues on guard duty. Mr. and Mrs. Adam Sippel, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Sippel of Milver- ton called at the home 'of Mr. aand 1Vhrs. C. L. Smith, on Wednesday. They were attending the funeral of the late Philip Schade.
