The auction sale of Farm Stock
.and implements of Mr. A. Melick on
Tuesday was very largely attended.
Cars were parked on the roadsides
for a long way, and many people vis-
ited the scene of activity. As a re-
sult, good prives were realized; we
are getting back to the good old days
when livestock is worth more than
in times of depression, as one cow
went for $11'8. we are told. Mr.
Melick will now live in retirement in
Zurich, having farmed for many ye-
ars, and worked hard during this
time.
