PRESENTATION
About twenty-eight of the Blake
United Church gathered the other
evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs
Edward 'Stelck, 14th con., and pleas-
antly surprised Mrs. Stelck with a
social evening consisting of lovely
lunch, music, etc., and presented Mrs
Stelck with a handsome sum of
money and the following address:
Dear Mrs..Stelak—We, the members
of BIake Congregation, have gathered
here to show our appreciation to
you for the past years, acting as or-
ganist for our church. Your services
have been greatly appreciated and
weh ope you will continue the good
work. We trust that Proviidence will

Mr. and Mrs, Roy Rau of Drys-
dale were St. Josepn visitors on Sun-
day to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Simen.
Mr, and Mrs, Wm. Ducharme and
Mr. and Mrs. Hector Laporte •of the
Blue Water north were Blake visit-
ors on Thursday last with Mr. and
Mrs. Maxime Denomme.
Mrs. Maurice Masse was a visitor
to Mr. and •Mrs. F. Ducharme on
Tuesday last.
Mr. John Charrette •of the Blue
Water south who was operated on
for stomach trouble a year and a
half ago, and who has never recov-
ered is now confined to his bed and
quite ill. Mr. Charrette is bearing •

The death occurred in Scott's Me-
morial Hospital, 'Seafort-h on Thurs-
day morning .last of a life long re.

person of George E. Thompson in.
his 74th year. He is survived by
