Father, thou are gone before us, And thy saintly soul has flown; Where tears are wiped from every eye, And sorrow is unknown. With tears we watched you Sinking, We watched you pass away, We tended you with loving care But could not make you stay. We watched beside your bedside As lonely hours passed, And how our hearts were broken When we saw you breathe your last. Sadly missed by his Wife Gertrude and Family.
