MARK ANNIVERSARY - Mr. and Mrs. Kar! Haberer were
pleasantly surprised on Saturday evening when their family
invited relatives and friends to their home on the occasion
of their fortieth wedding anniversary. Karl Haberer and the
former Helen Thiel were married at St. Peter's Lutheran
Parsonage in Zurich by Rev. E. Turkheim on November
23, 1935. They spent most of these years farming on conces-
sion ten, Hay Township, until 1972 when they moved to
Zurich. Karl is presently employed as Hay township road
superintendent, a position he has held since 1972. They have
two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Marilyn) Heimrich of Zurich
and Mrs. Milo (Ruth) Stevenson of London. They also have -
