His vehicle had been parked
on concession 8-9 of Hay at the
time of the theft.
Several mail boxes were again
damaged by vandals in the area
this week. Some of the damage
had apparently been caused by
careless hunters or people who
couldn't find anything else at
which to shoot.
Police report that a story from
Crediton last week about two
youths being chased by a man
who tried t entice them into his
car was not correct. A Crediton
man advised Exeter OPP he had
chased a couple of youths, but
only because they had thrown
a stone at his car. The lads
admitted this was in fact the way
the incident had started.
