Mr. and Mrs. Sim Roobal and. Mrs. Audrey Christie visited with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wat- son in Seaforth on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Stretton were holidaying in Kentucky and Indiana last week. They had a very enjoyable time. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Schwalm, Mrs. Daisy Ivey and Mrs. Elizabeth Volland. were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dyke of Goderich, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Mason and Andrew of Huron Park, Mr. and Mrs. Art Coombs of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Des- mond Ivey of Sarnia, Mrs. Irene Finlayson and Randy of Staffa, Mrs. Vera Johnston of Bruce - field, Mr. and Mrs. Al Strutters of Huron Park, Dr. Charles Toll of Seaforth, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Wilson and Mr. Edward Wells of Durham, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Taylor of Varna, Mrs. Bob Tay- lor, Murray and Donna of Hills - green and Mr. John Johnston of Brucefield. Visitors from town were Mabel Parke, Winnie Skea and David, Irene Finlayson, Margaret Ingram and Mrs. Windover. Miss Margaret Hyde of London visited over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harv- ey Hyde. Mrs. Laird Mickle returned Sunday from a pleasant two week's visit in Hamilton and while there heard the famous pianist, Van Cliburn in the Great Hall at Hamilton Place. Mrs. Felix Boogemans and Scott spent the weekend with the former's mother, Mrs. Pearl Passmore. PRESBYTERIAN W.M.S. The November meeting of Carmel Presbyterian Church W.M.S. was held in the church basement. President Mrs. Hyde opened the meeting with a poem, "Has someone seen Christ in you today?" Mrs. Charles Soldan was in charge of devotions and opened with"0 Canada." The topic was "Lets Live" and was prepared by a joint committee of Presbyterian and United Church people in the county of Middlesex. She also spoke on Remembrance Day and told of visiting the cemetery in Kitchener where the remains of the soldiers of World War II are buried. She followed this with a poem, "In Foreign Fields," and then closed with the Lord's Prayer. The offering was dedic- ated.
