Mr. and Mrs. John Soldan, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reddy, Toronto and Mrs. Michael Soldan, Exeter attended the Fall Convocation of the Un- iversity of Western Ontario Saturday when Michael Soldan received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Corbett were Sunday visitors with the latter' s brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Adams, Exeter and also visited with another sister, Mrs. Harry Chapman, London who was visiting there. Mr. and Mrs. John Soldan, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Light- foot Sue Ann and Jodi, Exeter, attended the morning service at Grand Bend United Church, Sunday and witness- ed the baptism of Jason Pat- rick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Soldan and brother of Tracey, Pinedale, Grand Bend. Mrs. Nan Britton has ret- , urned to her home after' convalescing in Seaforth following surgery in Strat- ford.Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shep- herd Willowdale visited with their mother Mrs. Ada Smillie at Queensway Nursing Horne this week. Mrs. Robert Baker visited last week with relatives in Fergus. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Bell wre recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McNaugh- ton in Stratford. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Cud - more spent the weekend with their daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer McDon- ald in Brampton. Mrs. Eric Munroe of Sea - forth visited recently with Mrs. Bertha MacGregor. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer McGregor returned to their home in Sault Ste. Marie after spending the past two weeks with Mrs. William McGregor and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar McClinchey. Miss Joan Goddard of Pet- erborough spent the weekend with her parents Dr. J.C. and Mrs. Goddard. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Westaway of Burlington were recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs, Lorne Chapman. Rev. W.D. Jarvis conducted service in Carmel Presbyter- ian Church on Sunday. Miss Linda Bell presided at the org- an in the absence of the org- anist Mrs. Malcolm Dougall. The W.M.S. of the church held a most successful Fuller Brush Party on Tuesday even- ing with a very good attend- ance. Tuesday morning Mr. Lawrence Wein, Exeter conducted an hour of music and singing for the residents which all enjoyed very much.
