Mr. Bud McLeod, a former
resident and now living in
Manitowaning, visited in
the village on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson,
Listowel, visited with W.I.
Mellis last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Vivan Coop-
er spent Thanksgiving with
their son Jack at Douglas
Point.
Anniversary Services
were held in St. Andrew's
Church, Kippen, October 19
with Mr. Stevens in charge
of worship and the Huronia
Male Choir of Exeter,
providing the music.
Sympathy of the community
is expressed to Mrs. Rochus
Faber on the death of her
mother Mrs. Frank Bean, on
Saturday.
Obituary
MILNE RADER
A resident of Zurich for
many years, Milne Rader
passed away suddenly in
Stanley Township on Tues-
day, October 21 in his 81st
year. He was born in Hay
Township on July 19, 1895,
a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
William Rader.
His wife, the former Alberta
Truemner, passed away just
a little over two years ago.
A son, Leroy, died in 1940.
Mr. and Mrs. Rader farmed
on the 14th concession of Hay
Township for many years be-
fore retiring to Zurich.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs.
Victor (Lylyan) Dinnin, of
Zurich.
The body is resting at the
Westlake Funeral Home,
Zurich, where the service will
take place on Friday, October
24, at 2:30 p.m. with inter-
ment in St. Peter's Lutheran
Cemetery , Goshen Line. Rev.
A.C. Blackwell will officiate.
