Mrs, Ray Rader, Mrs. Irv- in Rader and Mrs. Verda Moulton attended the fall Historical meeting for Huron County Wednesday, October 15th at Crediton. U.C.W. MEETING Mrs. Mervyn Tieman wel- comed the guests, members of Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid, for fellowship together at Hobby night. The Community Friendship committee was in charge of Thankoffering meeting, Mrs. Lloyd Guenther led in prayer followed by responsive reading, Thanksgiving. i c.. a 1 x Mrs. Ross Love and Mrs. Mevyn Tiernan favoured with two duets. A poem was read by Mrs. Gerald Mason, "Thank You God for Every- thing." The ladies were pri- vileged t have present Mrs. Ruth Anne Merner, who teaches Art at London High School, to help them under- stand more about art. She had a film which was most int- eresting • and informative. She also brought wallhangings weaving and pillows she had made. For .hobby night, the ladies had a display of quilts, afghans, button collections and other items. Mrs. Tiernan conducted the business. There were 23 members and 17 guests pres- ent.
