Sturg- eon and brother Andrew. Mr. Michael Gregg and his sister Miss Mary of Toronto were with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Gregg, Main St. for the holiday weekend. Mr. Norm Brown, London entertained his family and friends to Thanksgiving dinner at their cottage. Includ- ed were his son Craig of Kingston, daughter Vicki who is attending the College of Fine Arts, University of Toronto and Miss Buffy of London with several of her friends. Also with the Browns were Barbara and Fred and baby of London. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Guil- foyle, Bill Jr. and Tracy of Sarnia spent the weekend at their summer residence. Mr. John MacKenzie of St. Catherines visited with his grandmother, Mrs. Jack MacKenzie during the week- end while registered at the Albion Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schell and their daughter Mrs. Nor- man Talbot visited last Mon- day with family friends in Teterville. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Scotchmer, Robert, Lori and Carolyn, Chatham spent Thanksgiving weekend with his mother, Mrs. L.W. Scot- chmer. Mr. Allan Armstrong, Ottawa and Miss Winnie Armstrong, London were with their parents • and family, Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Armst- rong, James and Julia, R.R.3 Bayfield for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Pemb- erton, Roger Jr., Christina and Mary Jane of Toronto were weekend guests of his mother, Mrs. Gwen Pemb- erton. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Knight and daughters., Jackie, Sandy and Kathryn of Toronto and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Latimer of Downsview visited for the weekend with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. G.L. Knight. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Scotch - mer, MolLy and Jody, St. Catherines and Mr. Calvin Scotchmer and Miss Joanne Bates of London were the guests of their father, Mr. A.F. Scotchmer for Thanks- giving weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pounder and Mary Beth entertained her mother, Mrs. L,W. Scotchmer; her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Scotchmer and children of Chatham and their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Fisher and Mr. Randy Campbell of Hensall to dinner on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Burt, Jeff and his friend; their daughter, Mr, and Mrs. Stan Smith of Woodstock; their daughter, Miss Joanne Burt of Toronto were together at their home in the Village for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Talbot, Deanne and Marshal, St. Thomas, joined his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Talbot for the holiday weekend. Miss Evelyn Schell, Ayers Cliff, Quebec is presently visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schell. Visiting with the Schell's on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morse, Peter, and Jason of Toronto and Mrs. Lily Morse of Ed- monton, Alberta. Mr. and Mrs. William Oesch, Goshen Line visited for Thanksgiving Day with friends in St. Jacobs. Their daughter Terri was the guest of her brother-in-law and sist- er, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Manson, Goshen Line. A dinner meeting of the Bayfield Lionettes was held at the Bavarian Inn on Mon- day, October 6 with 29 memb- ers present. The president, Mrs. Joan Merner was in the chair for the business meeting which followed. A committee was formed to plant bulbs in the flower beds; and the Lionettes decided to assist the Canadian Arthritis and Rheumatism Society by canvassing the Vill- age in September, 1976. A committee was also form- ed to assist the Senior Citizens in nay way necessary when moving into the new Senior Citizens Apartments. The members are reminded that Formation Night will take place on November 21 in the Clinton Legion Hall. BAYFIELD I 4-H CLUB (by Joanne Chapman) On Wednesday, October 1, we held our first meeting of Bayfield I 4-H Club at Mrs. Garrett's home. We chose our officers, Patti Greer, president Zurich Citizens News, October 16, 1975 - Page 11 Diane Garrett, vice-president, Cathy Leppington, secret- ary and Joanne Chapman, press reporter. Mrs. Garrett and Mrs. Phoenix showed us the basic steps for preparing and kneading dough for bread.
