Mrs. Letta Taylor is a pat- ient in St. Joseph's Hospit- al, London. Ernest Koehler is a pat- ient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Neeb, Clarksville, Michigan were visitors with Mrs. Hilda Wein last Wednesday. HOLIDAY VISITORS Spike Nagel, Anne Bayn- ham, Susan and Chris, Oshawa, were with Mrs. Ernest Koehler and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hayter and boys. Rick Hayter, Toronto, spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hayter . Mr. and Mrs. Mike Burke and Susan, Brampton, were with Milt Haugh. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller and girls, Zion; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rader, Sharon Rader and Bill Bennett, London, were with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Rader and Stacey, on Sunday. Mrs. Wilbur Stewart, Lond- on, were with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gaiser and girls. Mr. and Mrs. Art Haugh, London, were with Mrs. Cora Gaiser. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Van- Dorsselaer and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hayter of Stratford are touring Northern Ontario and visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Love accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Wellwood Gill, Grand Bend at Oshawa with Rev. and Mrs. W.C. Smith, a former minist- er at Grand Bend United Church, last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Love at Grand Bend with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Datars. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Chandler have returned home follow- ing a two week visit to the Hawaiian Islands. They spent some time at Honolulu, Oahu and Maui. Adolph Keller is a patient in Victoria Hospital with a slight stroke. Mrs. Keller is spending some time with her daughter and son-in-law and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sanders, London. WOMEN'S INSTITUTE The Citizenship and World Affairs group with Mrs. Emil Becker convener was in charge of the October meet- ing of Dashwood W.I. Sixteen members and two visitors were present. Roll call was to show an interesting piece of money and tell something about it. Mrs. Howard Maier discussed the motto, "The world stands on either side; no wider than the heart is wide." Elizabeth Datars favoured with a piano selection. Guest speaker, Doug Riddell, chair- man of the village trustees, spoke on the village by-laws. Mrs. Gordon Bender is delegate to the convention at St. Thomas. Mrs. Hilda Rader reported on the Fall Rally. Dashwood voted to extend an invitation for the 1976 rally. LADIES AID Group II with Mrs. Charles Marten convener was in charge of the annual fowl supper when 25 members and their guests were present. Pastor M. Barz said Grace. A mystery parcel sent around during the supper was won by Reinhold Miller. Mrs. Mrs. Ernest Koehler occup- ied the lucky chair. Mrs. Bill Berends led in a sing song. "Happy Birthday" was sung to Mrs. Hilda Wein who is 80p this week. Following supper, vice- president, Mrs. Lorne Gentt- ner conducted a brief busin- ess meeting. The Altar Guild reported 16 calls and four treats. The new Guild is Mrs. Ray Rader abd Mrs. Earl Keller. The ladies were reminded of three invitations, Calvary United Church, on October 14; Caven Presbyterian church Exeter, October 23 and Mt. Carmel church Donations were made to the CNIB and the Children's A id. Bunco followed with winn- ers Mrs. Lloyd Rader and Mrs. Frieda Kellerman; consolationists, Mrs. Ray Rader and Ray. 4-H GIRLS CLUB The girls of Club III met at the home of their leader Mrs. Delmar Miller. There were 13 girls present and the two leaders, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Dena Inthout.
