While applications for resi-
dence in the home are being
accepted by the committee it
is likely most will be trainees
from the ARC workshop at
Dashwood.
Four persons can be accom-
modated at one time along
with a house parent. This pos-
ition was advertised in last
week's. edition of the T -A.
The committee is now open
for requests for admission.
The type of resident expect-
ed will be higher functioning
adults in their 20's or 30's
who have fairly well develop-
ed self-help skills and are cap-
able of being involved in the
general operation of the
home.
The home is expected to
be a learning and training
centre where the residents
will go to a less supervised
type of accommodation such
as a shared apartment.
The committee in charge of
the residence includes Mrs.
Alma Godbolt, Mrs. Mavis
Atthill, Mrs. Olive Harvey,
Mrs. Kathleen Whitmore,
