in the Legion Hall, Hensall

Lean introduced the guest
speakers George Thompson
and Susan Tyndall, 4-H Club
members who commented on
the Regional 4-H conference
and the Provincial Leadership
Conference. George, who had
been with the 4-11 Exchange
Program, showed slides of
Alberta and told of his exp-
eriences. George and Susan
were presented with a gift
by Mrs. Vern Alderdice,
All joined in a sing song.
The roll call "Name a Favour-
ite recipe made with a dairy
produce" was answered by
13 members and there were
two visitors. Grace Drummond
commented on the motto,
"The farm is the food factory
of the Nation - Let's keep the
Assembly Line Rolling."
Mary Broadfoot gave current
events and Margaret Hogg-
arth conducted two contests.
The Fall Rally willbe held in
Belgrave October 6 and the
Area Convention will be in
St. Thomas October 15 and 16.
The October meeting will
likely be held the second
Wednesday.
Leaders for the club Bak-
ing with Yeast" will be Mrs,
L. Bean, Mrs. Don Mac-
Gregor, Linda Bell, Linda
Vanneste, Beth Cooper
and Sharon Finlayson. Dele-
gates to the Area Convention
will be Frances Kinsmen and
Grace Drummond and the del-
egates to the Rally to be pick-
ed later. Mona Alderdice gave
courtesy remarks and Olive
Varley and Charlotte Pull-
man served lunch. Cook
books will be sold at Exeter
and Seaforth Fall Fairs.
