Municipal building to -night,

at 6 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Dinel,
Tracy and Erin, London
were the weekend guests of
Mrs. Dinel's mother, Mrs.
Maude Weston.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Park-
er, Toronto, were with his
mother, Mrs. Myrtle Parker
for the weekend.
LADIES GUILD
Gifts are to be gfiven with
our best wishes to former
presidents of the Guild who
are now living out of the vill-
age.
A euchre and bridge party
was discussed and a tentat-
ive date was set for Friday,
October 17.
The October meeting will
be in the Parish Hall on
Tuesday afternoon, October
14, at 2 p.m.Each member to
bring a few cookies.
The meeting was closed by
the Rector and the hostess

table for a ovely lunch and
a cup of tea.
OLYMPATHON
The Bayfield Lions Club
in conjunction with Coco
Cola of Canada are sponsor-
ing an Olympathon on Sat-
urday morning, October 4.
The walk will be 10 miles
and will leave from the arena
and return to the arena. One-
half of the proceeds will go
to the local Club and the
other half to the Olympic
Fund. The registration
forms may be picked up at
Grahams General Store and
the Lions are askinig for your
support. They stressed that
age is no barrier and they will
be offering five or six incent-
ive prizes. Several Lions
Clubs are involved in this
project to aid the Lions Clubs
for the Olympic Training exp-
enses.
