BLUE WATER REST HOMF
It seems that the past week
has brought us nothing but
rain and more rain, making
the weather unpleasant for
people both inside and out.
We are hoping for sunny
dry weather, as I suppose
everyone else is, so that work
on our apartment project
across the road will progress
as fast as possible before
winter sets in. We are inter-
ested in receiving suggest-
ions for a suitable name for
the apartment complex. If you
have a suggestin, please
drop us a note or give us a
call.
Monday evening was the
beginning of the fall film
program. Throughout the-
winter films will be' shown
every Monday evening at
7 p.m. followed by refresh-
ments.
The sympathy of residents
and staff is extended to the
family of the late Mrs. Edna
Traquair.
On Tuesday evening, the
ladies of Crediton United
Church sponsored the monthly
birthday party. A variety prog-
ram was presented consisting
of a skit, musical numbers
and a special band number
featuring kitchen utensils as
instruments. Residents
having birthdays during the
month of September were
Mrs. Maude Berry, Mrs.
Sarah Douglas, Mr. James
Eagleson. Mr. Fred Gibson,
Mrs. Melissa Gardner, Mr.
John Jones, Miss Jane
Lamont and Mrs. Anne Rehn.
Following the program, a del-
icious lunch was served
including birthday cake.
Mrs. Amelia Prang was a
delegate of the Ladies Auxil-
iary at the 56th annual conven-
tion of the Ontario Associat-
ion of Homes for the Aged
