READY FOR OPEN HOUSE - The Public Library in the Hensall Municipal Building has
been completely re -decorated and stocked with a new supply of reading material for both
adults and children. The upper photo shows a section of new shelving loaded with the type
of reading the older generation will be interested in, while the lower photo shows part of the
children's department complete with small table and chairs. Open House will take place
tonight. Thursday, beginning at 7 p.m.

Roland McCaffrey announc-
ed this week that the resi-
dence for young adults
directly across Andrew street
from the church will be open
by that time.
The property was offered to
the church early in the year
by its owner Mrs. Alma South-
cott for one half the apprais-
ed value providing it was
used for community work.
The committee spent about
a year in analyzing the needs
of the community before dec-
iding to establish a home for
retarded young adults. The
house is being leased to the
South Huron Association for
the Mentally Retarded.
