BLUEBIRD SOCIETY
There was a great del of
interest in the Bayfield Area
Bluebird Society display at
the recent Bayfield Fair.
Many people stopped to ask
about the success of the
project and to find out more
about bluebirds. All were
delighted with the entries
submitted by the children
in response to a colouring
contest sponsored by'the Soc-
iety. Congratulations to the
following winners:- Blue-
birds coloured from a stencil
for children 8 years and under -

Mrs. Maude Sturgeon
celebrated her 82nd birthday
on Sunday, September 14,
with a surprise birthday party
arranged by her daughter,
Mrs. Francis (Jeanne) And-
erson. R.R.1, St. Marys,
assisted by granddaughter
Barbara. Mrs. Sturgeon was
born in Strathroy, a daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. S.D. Merner.
