Group 1 of Zion Lutheran
Ladies Aid was in charge of
devotions and lunch for the
September meeting, with
Mrs. Lorne Becker, convenor.
Mrs. Arnold Becker, pres-
ident, presided, opening the
meeting with a prayer.
Nineteen members answer-
ed the roll call. The summer
had been busy. The pie sale
at Friedshcrg Days and the
13akeless Bake sale were suc-
cessful. The Altar Guilds
had also been busy, report-
ing 23 calls for June, 12 for
.July, and 23 for August.
The new Guild is Mrs.
Esther Salmon and Mrs.
Lorne Ge111tner.
The annual Ladies Aid
fowl stepper will be October
8, with group 11in. charge.

a musical number. Several
Bible quiz games were enj-
oyed.
Mrs. Mervyn Ticman,

Merner. The ladies were
