Ark
So many people have rem-
arked, "where has the sum-
mer gone?" Lets hope that
we have some fal weather we
can enjoy, since the weather-
man hasn't given vacationers
much of a break over the past
few weeks. Like most places,
when fall rolls around every-
thing seems to get back to
normal, the regular staff are
back on duty and fall prog-
rams fall into place.
Even though the weather
has been so cold and wet,
we did manage to arrange
a bus ride last week for the
residents along the lake and in
and around Goderich. Weath-
er permitting, we hope to
arrange regular outings so
that the residents can
enjoy the beautiful autumn
scenery to the fullest.
The sympathy of residents
and staff is extended to
the family of the late Mr.
Peter Eisenbach.
On Tuesday, September
2, the Auxiliary began their
fall activities. The residents
were entertained to a most
enjoyable evening. Mrs.
Martha Blackwell, Mrs. Rose
Regier and Mrs. Mary Ging-
erich convened the meeting.

Kitchen utensils. Mrs. Mary

Use hot water wisely
Save energy...Save money
Apart from home heating, a family usually consumes
the most energy in producing hot water.
Here are just a few small things you can do, that can
add up to a considerable energy saving. Turn off
hot water taps so they don't drip, fill clothes washers to
match the size of the load, wait until you have a full load
before using a dishwasher and remember showers usually
require Tess hot water than baths. Try not to use
more hot water than you need.
