Mrs. Pollock and Jim had accomp- anied Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Challoner and Mary Beth of Brooklin to Don Mills after they had been Mrs. Pollock 's guest for several days. Miss May Murray of Liver- pool, England, who is spend- ing six weeks in Canada is presently visiting her friend Mrs. James Reddoch. Mr. W. Dunn, Alyce and Cathy and Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Duffin, Tommy and Danny, all of London were together at the Dunn cottage for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Scotchmer, Robert, Lori and Carolyn of Chatham were guests of his mother, Mrs. L. W. Scotchmer from Thursday until Monday. Also with Mrs. Scotchmer from Friday until Tuesday was her cousin, Mrs. Robert Peterka and children, Margaret and Chris of Strongs ville, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. John Pounder and Kyrstie, London are holidaying with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pounder of London at their village residence. Mr. Ronald Burt, St. Cath- erines spent the Labour Day weekend with his nephew, Rob Morley at the Morley home. Mrs. Elsie Sullivan, Port Huron, Michigan is visiting with her brother, Mr. and Mrs, Donald R. McLeod and other relatives and friends in the area. Mr. and Mrs. John Camp- bell and Peter, London were at their cottage for the holi- day. Mr. Renouf W.A. Johns, Mount Clemens, Michigan is holidaying at his village residence. Mr. Glen Pruss, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Krupa, London were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pruss and Chuck at the Pruss cot- tage on Victoria Street. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Burt, Ronnie and Timmy and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Smith, all of Woodstock were at 4,their family home on Sarnia for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. W.C. The W.C. Parker's were on their way home to London after a holi- day trip to Vancouver, B.C. where they visited with Mrs. Parker's mother, Mrs. Helen Fraser. Charlie Parker rem- ained to spent the weekend with Rick Penhale. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Bowers and family, Glen Allen were weekend holiday guests of Mrs. Margaret Garrett, Norma, Diane and John. Mrs. Gladys Parker, Sarnia and Mr. John Parker, Toronto spent the weekend at their cottage on Victoria Street. Mr. Earl Martin, Detroit, Michigan joined his wife and family at their cottage for the holiday weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard F. Sturgeon, Jeff and Rollie, Orangeville spent the week- end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. Sturgeon and brother Andrew. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Potter and Merry, R.R.3, Clinton joined the fam- ily for dinner on Sunday. Mr. Bud Sturgeon and his fiance, Miss Barbara David- son who had been the guests of his ^ousin, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Latimer in Toronto ret- urned Sunday to spend the remainder of the weekend with the Sturgeon family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Dinel, Tracy and Erin, London were the guests of Mrs. Din- el's mother, Mrs. Maude Weston for Labour Day weekend. Mr. Rick Westlake, London spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Westlake, Catherine and Paul. Miss Judith Neeb, London joined the Westlake family on Monday. Callers at the Westlake home on Saturday and Monday were her cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Johnston of Grimsby. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turn- er spent last weekend in Blyth with their son-in-law, daught- er and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Brian King, Mat- thew and Tim. The Shuffle Court at the Municipal Building is very active these days. It is open each afternoon and everyone is invited to come and enjoy a game of outdoor shuffle- board. Best of all it is "Free." Mr, Gawain R.G. Johns, Mount Clemens, Michigan, and Mrs. Margaret Day, Birmingham, Mich., visited with Mr. and Mrs. Norman F. Cooper, Mount Clemens, Michigan at their residence in Bayfield on Clan Gregor Square during the weekend. Best wishes to Mr. Reg Francis who is at his home recuperating after surgery in Victoria Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lyn and Diane, Etobicoke spent the weekend at their home in the village. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lesper- ance, Zurich, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Jeffrey, Dashwood and Mr. and Mrs, E.W. Erick- son spent Sunday in Port Huron, Michigan. Mrs. Gordon A. Stewart. R.R.2, Ripley visited on Wed- nesday and. Thursday with her sister, Milvena Erickson. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas H. Weeks, David and Kathy returned to their home in Pal- merston Saturday evening after being with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. R.
