Every morning lean thine

GRAND BEND
of the cast from the Grand
Bend Playhouse visited the
Home and presented prev-
iews on some of theup-com-
ing performances that are
scheduled for the summer.
Our residents along with a
number of visitors were very
enthused with the perfor-
mance and some are no doubt
hoping to attend at least one
presentation at the playhouse.
Coffee and refreshments were
served during the evening.
Rev. Lloyd Kalbfleisch,
of Zurich brought a guest,
one of his former church
organists of 25 years. She
delighted the audience with
the organ music and joined
in singing several songs.
A number of area citizens
have been very generous in
donating fresh vegetables
and fruit from their gardens.
We would like to thank Mr.
Theodore Soudant, Mrs, Curt-
is Gingerich, Mrs. Harry
McAdams, Mrs. Paul Steckle
and any other persons whom
I am not aware of.
The Ladies of the Zurich
Mennonite Church entert-
ained the residents on Thurs-
day evening. Crokinole, cards
and checker games were enj-
oyed followed by refresh-
ments.
On Friday afternoon we
were pleased to welcome the
Swiss Choir we spoke of prev-
iously. A number of visitors
from the area took the opport-
unity to come and listen to the
choir along with our own resi-
dents and to mingle with them
at the close of the present-
ation. We wish to thank mem-
bers of the Auxiliary for their
assistance in serving lunch to
the visitors.
