First of all we got acquainted with each other. The leaders of playground are Liz Deichert and Janet McKin- ley Our daily schedule for that week was .going upstairs and played the guitar. Then we list- ened to a story. For crafts we made paper flowers and bugs out of egg cartons called "creepies." We also did leaf prints and nat- ure scenes. Later on we went into the roller rink to play act- ive games. At the end of the week we went on a nature hike to a bush at the south end of Zurich. After the hike we had a wiener roast. That concluded our first week of playground. We're sure all the kids had a great time, we did.
