visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Glenn
Bell.

Rebekah picnic will be held at
the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Ernie Chipchase on July 13.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Corbett
had as dinner guests on Sunday,
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Morenz,
Dashwood; Mr. and Mrs. Ross

Carmel Presbyterian Church
and Hensall United Church niet
in Carmel Churh on Sunday for
worship when Rev. Glenn Wright
of Exeter United Church was in
charge of the service. Mrs. Mal-
com Dougall and Mrs. Edith
Bell sang a duet. Miss Linda
Bell accompanied at the organ.
The flowers in the sanctuary
were placed in memory of the
late Mrs. David Blackwell.
July 13 Rev. Harold Snell,
Exeter, will conduct the service
in Carmel church at 11:15 a.m.

Mrs. Percy Wright of Kippen
has accepted employment with
the local branch of the Bank of
Montreal and commenced her
duties last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Joynt and
Mrs. F.G. Bonthron returned
home after a pleasant holiday
at the former 's cottage on Man-
itoulin Island.
Miss Jane Heal has success-
fully completed her first year
of music at Lambton College, and
is employed at the Bluewater
Rest Home, Zurich, for the sum-
mer months.
Miss Julie Heal has accepted
a positilon at Western Univer-
sity with the Department of
Business Administration as a
private secretary.
Miss Linda Bell, of Hensall
has accepted a position at the
Blue Water Rest Horne, Zurich,
for the summer months.
Arthur Bragg had visitors
from Vermillin, Alberta, and
Leonard and Vera Bragg from
St. Marys.
Ann and Clarence Smillie and
Jim and Hazel McNaughton
visited with their mother Mrs.
Ada Smillie.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gittus
and son of Bridgetown, Missouri
spent the past week with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Gittus, of Hensall.
BOLTON -FORD REUNION
The seventh annual Bolton -
Ford Reunion was held on Sun-
day at the Community Park,
Dashwood with ninety percent
attendance.
The Soldan- family were resp-
onsible for sports and entertain-
ment.
Greetings and visitations took
up the first part of the afternoon.
At three o ' clock the children were
called for sports.
Victoria Soldan supervised the
races. Linesmen were Jim Ross
Don Fadey and Bob Hoffman.

QUEENS WAY HIGHLIGHTS
On Monday, June 30 the ladies
of the Christian Reformed Church
Exeter, took several residents
from Queensway Nursing Horne
for an outing to the Park in
Exeter where they were entert-
ained.

provided the church service, acc-
ompanied by Mrs. Van Essen
and their daughters.
