Allan present- ed four grade eight pupils of Zurich Public School with science awards for outstanding work in that subject. Huron Centennial School held its graduation exercises last Monday, June 23, and honoured the achievements of several students. Julie Armstrong (left) received the award for best music student; Kathy McFadden was the recipient of the Ruth Hayman Elliott Award For the best Bayfield Student; the Fred Chappel Award for outstanding sports participation went to John Coleman; Dianne Wilson was named best all-round girl; Billy -Joe Seymour, best all-round boy; Adrian Rehorst was honoured as top academic boy while Jane Allen and Kathy Martens tied for top academic girl. Mike Warner, winner of the Ralph Whitmore Award for Greatest Improved Student was absent when the photo was taken.
