MYSTERY BUS TRIP
Marlene Bell and Helen Mc-
Lean were in charge of a
"Mystery Bus Trip" to London
which was thoroughly enjoyed
by members of Kippen East
W.I. and their friends. They
visited Kayzer-Roth factory,
the City Hall, where they were
presented with a souvenir plat,
Eldon House, Springbank Park,
and Sifton Condominium Model
Homes. They enjoyed dinner
at the Garage, and shopping at
Westmount Mall. A quizz about
the days happenings was won
by Susie Faber and she was pres-
ented with an Institute spoon.
Anyone with suggestions and
ideas for next year's bus trip,
please contact any member of
Kippen East W.I. Beatrice Geig-
er donated a gift to be raffled
off as a means of making
money, -just another pleasant
surprise in a Surprise Bus Trip.
WOMEN 's INSTITUTE
The education meeting of Kip -
pen East W.I. was held in the
Legion Hall with Mary Broad -
foot and Ruby Triebner as host-
esses. 'The roll call was, find a
new word and explain it. Fines
were levied for a repeat. The
if you are lucky, the wrong way
to build a patio or walk may
work for you. More than likely
however, your property's drain-
age is not ideal, so if you simply
remove the sod to lay your
walk or patio you will end up
with an uneven surface caused
by winter heaving.
"For a maintenance -free,
long-lasting effect, the sand and
gravel based patio or walk is
best.

Oil or grease on engine will at-
tract dirt and grime, and can
promote overheating
problems.
"Caster" involves the
backward tilt of the wheels,
which keeps them pointing
straight ahead. It's measured
in degrees.
Even if you have 20/20 vision,
you can see only 75 percent as
well after dark. That's why you
have to drive with extra care
at night.

Long -distance driving at
highway speeds may bring out
problems you didn't know
about. Be sure to have your
car checked before you take
that vacation trip.
Spark -plug timing tends to
become late with engine use.
Check it at least twice a year,
more often if you drive more
than 10,000 miles annually.
Another timing problem? Maybe
now's the time to move up. At Larry
Sniders you'll find lots of good buys
or, good cars.
